Canal Place - Cumberland, Canal Place is a 58.1-acre park operated by the National Park Service located in Cumberland, Maryland. The park includes the Western Maryland Railway Station, station plaza, a picnic area, a canal boat replica, a pedestrian bridge to George Washington’s Headquarters, picnic area, and the Crescent Lawn Festival Grounds. Future plans for the festival grounds include an Adventure playground and an outdoor recreation facility composed of an ice skating rink, climbing walls and hardscape surface for summer activities.

Fort Frederick State Park - , Big Pool, Fort Frederick State Park is a Maryland state park surrounding the restored Fort Frederick, a fort from the French and Indian War and American Revolutionary War. The park is south of the town of Big Pool on the Potomac River; the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal runs through the park grounds. The fort was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1973.

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races - , Charles Town, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races is a gambling facility owned by Penn National Gaming and located just outside the eastern city limits of Charles Town, West Virginia. It features a six furlong thoroughbred horse racing facility that is home of the West Virginia Breeders' Classic. It also contains over 5,000 slot machines, which help to generate 1,400 jobs for the surrounding community. As of July 2010, they now have table games.

Museum of the Berkeley Springs - , Bath, , , , Berkeley Springs, Berkeley Springs State Park is a state park located in the center of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. The centerpieces of this park are the spa facilities. These waters are currently and historically billed as having medicinal or restorative powers, generally taken internally for digestive disorders or in baths for stress relief. Museum of the Shenandoah Valley - Winchester, The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley is a museum that can be found at 901 Amherst Street, Winchester, Virginia. The Museum interprets the art, history, and culture of the great valley for which it is named. This regional museum complex includes a historic house dating to the 18th century, six acres of spectacular gardens, and a museum designed by internationally recognized architect Michael Graves. The museum is open year-round, and the house and gardens are open March through November.
