Canal Place - , Cumberland, Canal Place is a 58.1-acre park operated by the National Park Service located in Cumberland, Maryland. The park includes the Western Maryland Railway Station, station plaza, a picnic area, a canal boat replica, a pedestrian bridge to George Washington’s Headquarters, picnic area, and the Crescent Lawn Festival Grounds. Future plans for the festival grounds include an Adventure playground and an outdoor recreation facility composed of an ice skating rink, climbing walls and hardscape surface for summer activities.

Fort Frederick State Park - , Big Pool, Fort Frederick State Park is a Maryland state park surrounding the restored Fort Frederick, a fort from the French and Indian War and American Revolutionary War.
