Acadia National Park - Acadia National Park is a national park that is situated in the U.S. state of Maine. It reserves much of Mount Desert Island, and associated smaller islands, off the Atlantic coast. Originally created as Lafayette National Park in 1919, the first National Park East of the Mississippi, it was renamed Acadia in 1929.

Bucksport Railroad Station - Bucksport, Bucksport Railroad Station, is located in Bucksport, Maine. The rail station was built in 1874 by the Maine Central Railroad and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 28, 1975.

Fort Knox (Maine) - , Prospect, Fort Knox, now Fort Knox State Park or Fort Knox State Historic Site, in Maine was built from 1844-1869. It is that can be found on the western bank of the Penobscot River in the town of Prospect, Maine, about 5 miles from the mouth of the river. It was the first fort in Maine built of granite. Maine Discovery Museum - Bangor, The Maine Discovery Museum, located in Bangor, Maine, is the largest children's museum located north of Boston, Massachusetts. It opened in 2001 in a converted department store following several years of planning and fundraising. Despite attendance that has exceeded expectations since its first year of operation, the museum has struggled each year to meet its operating costs. The museum was able to receive assistance from the state in the form of a grant, despite a Bangor city panel choosing not to further fund the museum.
