Nicholas Memorial Golf Course - Summersville, The Nicholas Memorial Golf Course is a 9 hole public golf course in Nicholas County West Virginia. Built in 1978, this Summersville course is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 304-872-9850. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.

Pearl S. Buck Birthplace - Hillsboro, The Pearl S. Buck Birthplace is a historic home in Hillsboro, West Virginia where American writer Pearl S. Buck was born. The home now serves as a museum offering guided tours. The site also includes a carpentry shop and barn with over 100 historic farm and woodworking tools, and the log home of Buck's father's family, the Sydenstrickers, which was moved from Greenbrier County.

West Virginia State Wildlife Center - French Creek, The 'West Virginia State Wildlife Center is a zoological park in French Creek, West Virginia. Operated by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, the Wildlife Center displays many of West Virginia's wildlife, including both native and introduced species. A few of the animals at the Wildlife Center were once found naturally in West Virginia, but were extirpated by the early 1900s.
