African American Civil War Memorial Museum - Washington, The African American Civil War Memorial, at the corner of Vermont Avenue, 10th St, and U Street NW in Washington, D.C., commemorates the service of 209,145 African-American soldiers and sailors who fought for the Union in the American Civil War. Lee Memorial, which is also referred to as the Custis-Lee Mansion, is a Greek revival style mansion located in Arlington, Virginia in the US and was once the home of Confederate General Robert E.
