Alta - , Alta, Alta is a ski area located in the Wasatch Mountains, just east of Salt Lake City, Utah. With a skiable area of 2200 acres, beginning at a base elevation of 8530 ft and rising to 10,550 ft for a vertical gain of 2020 ft. Alta is one of the oldest ski resorts in the country, opening its first lift in 1939. It has an average annual snowfall of 514 inches. Alta is one of three remaining ski resorts in America that prohibits snowboarders, along with nearby competitor Deer Valley and Vermont's Mad River Glen.

Brighton - , Big Cottonwood Canyon, Brighton Ski Resort is a ski area located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, 30 miles from downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Brighton Ski Resort was the first ski resort in Utah, and one of the first in the US. Brighton was started in 1936 when members of the Alpine Ski Club built a rope tow from wire and an old elevator motor. Brighton claims to be a "no-frills" resort whose sole business is to provide skiers and snowboarders with top-notch trails.

BYU Museum of Art - Provo, The Brigham Young University Museum of Art, located in Provo, Utah, is the university's primary art museum and is one of the best attended university-campus art museums in the US. The museum, which had been discussed for more than fifty years, opened in a 10,000-square-foot space in October 1993 with a large exhibit on the Etruscans. Marriott Center - Brigham Young University - Provo, Marriott Center is a 22,700-seat multi-purpose arena at 1497 N 450 E on the campus of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and is home to the BYU Cougars men's and women's basketball teams. It was named in honor of J. Willard Marriott, the LDS founder of the Marriott Corporation. When the arena opened in 1971, it replaced the University of Minnesota's Williams Arena as the largest college basketball arena in the US.
