Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site - Gallitzin, The Allegheny Portage Railroad was the first railroad constructed through the Allegheny Mountains in central Pennsylvania. It was a series of 10 inclines, about 36 miles long, and operated from 1834 to 1854. It connected two canal divisions of the Main Line of Public Works of the Pennsylvania Canal from Johnstown on the west to Hollidaysburg on the east, thus allowing continuous barge traffic between the Ohio and the Susquehanna rivers.

Built in 1974, this Berkeley Springs course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. is open all year. Canal Place - , Cumberland, Canal Place is a 58.1-acre park operated by the National Park Service located in Cumberland, Maryland. The park includes the Western Maryland Railway Station, station plaza, a picnic area, a canal boat replica, a pedestrian bridge to George Washington’s Headquarters, picnic area, and the Crescent Lawn Festival Grounds. Future plans for the festival grounds include an Adventure playground and an outdoor recreation facility composed of an ice skating rink, climbing walls and hardscape surface for summer activities.

East Broad Top Railroad - Rockhill Furnace, The East Broad Top Railroad and Coal Company is a heritage railroad headquartered in Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania, 19 miles north of Interstate 76 and 11 miles south of U.S. Route 22, the William Penn Highway. The railroad operates excursion trains on a seasonal schedule.

Fort Bedford Museum - Bedford, Fort Bedford was a French and Indian War-era British military fortification located at the present site of Bedford, Pennsylvania. The fort was a star-shaped log fortress erected in the summer of 1758.

Fort Frederick State Park - , Big Pool, Fort Frederick State Park is a Maryland state park surrounding the restored Fort Frederick, a fort from the French and Indian War and American Revolutionary War. The park is south of the town of Big Pool on the Potomac River; the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal runs through the park grounds. The fort was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1973.

Fulton County Historical Society Museum - Mcconnellsburg, The Fulton House is a prominent Georgian-influenced stone tavern built circa 1793 and located on Lincoln Way East in Mcconnellsburg, Pennsylvania, this inn once boarded governors and four presidents and was originally known as The Union Hotel. The building is now restored following a devastating 1944 fire that destroyed much of the 18th century interior of the original structure. The 1820 east end addition was not affected by the fire.

Johnstown Flood National Memorial - South Fork, Johnstown Flood National Memorial commemorates the about 2,200 people who died in the Johnstown Flood of 1889, caused by a break in the South Fork Dam. Clara Barton successfully led the American Red Cross in its first disaster relief effort. The memorial is located at 733 Lake Road near South Fork, Pennsylvania, about 10 miles northeast of Johnstown. The memorial preserves the remains of the dam and portions of the former Lake Conemaugh bed.
