Adam Thoroughgood House - , Virginia Beach, The Adam Thoroughgood House is a brick house in located within the neighborhood of Thoroughgood, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was at one time thought to have been built in 1636, but recent research has placed its construction ca. 1720. The building underwent major restorations in 1923 and in the 1950's and has served as a museum since opening to the public April 29, 1957. Much of the current structure was most likely the house of the great-grandson of Adam Thoroughgood.

Ferry Plantation House - , Virginia Beach, Ferry Plantation House, or Old Donation Farm, Ferry Farm, Walke Manor House, is a brick house in the neighborhood of Church Point in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The site dates back to 1642 when Savill Gaskin started the second ferry service in Hampton Roads to carry passengers on the Lynnhaven River to the nearby county courthouse and to visit plantations along the waterway. A cannon was used to signal the ferry, which had 11 total stops along the river.

Hampton Roads Naval Museum - , Norfolk, The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is one of the 12 Navy museums that are operated by the Naval History & Heritage Command. It celebrates the long history of the U.S. Navy in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. It is co-located with the Nauticus National Maritime Center in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. In 2009, the Hampton Roads Naval Museum was accredited by the American Association of Museum Accreditation, the gold standard for museum accreditation.

Historic Hope Plantation - Windsor, Historic Hope Plantation an early federal house in the Palladian mode, is located Carolina Coastal Plain, near Windsor, North Carolina, in the US. The manor house was built by David Stone, a member of the coastal Carolina planter class, later Governor of North Carolina and a United States Senator. One of the finest examples of Palladian design built in timber, the manor house is slightly modified by neo-classical elements.
