Ashtabula is a plantation house at 2725 Old Greenville Highway near Pendleton in Anderson County, South Carolina in the US. It has been also known as the Gibbes-Broyles-Latta-Pelzer House or some combination of one or more of these names. It was named to the National Register of Historic Places as a Historic District on March 23, 1972. It is considered a significant example of a Lowcountry style plantation house built for a Charleston family in the Upstate in the early nineteenth century.

Cataloochee is a ski area located near Maggie Valley, North Carolina. The area has fourteen ski slopes and trails. about 25% of the slopes are rated beginner, 50% intermediate, and 25% advanced. With a top elevation of 5,400 feet, Cataloochee has a maximum vertical drop of 740 feet. The slopes are accessed by five chair lifts and two carpet lifts. Typical of North Carolina ski areas, Cataloochee relies primarily on man-made snow for its slopes.
