It is the oldest structure in upstate New York, and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1967.

Burden Iron Works - Troy, The Burden Iron Works was an iron works and industrial complex on the Hudson River and Wynantskill Creek in Troy, New York. It once housed the Burden Water Wheel, the most powerful vertical water wheel in history. It most likely inspired George Washington Ferris to build the Ferris wheel.

Children's Museum of Science and Technology - Troy, The Rensselaer Technology Park is a technology park in North Greenbush, New York in the US operated by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As of 2009 the park has over 70 tenants representing a diverse range of technologies and employing over 2,400. The park is located along the Hudson River about five miles south of the RPI campus.

Clark Art Institute - Williamstown, The Sterling & Francine Clark Art Institute, usually referred to simply as "The Clark," is an art museum with a large and varied collection located in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Along with the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and the Williams College Museum of Art, it forms a trio of significant art museums and resources in the north of The Berkshires. In June 2008 it expanded with the addition of the Stone Hill Center, a 32,000-square-foot building designed by Tadao Ando on a nearby wooded hillside that contains exhibition space and a conservation studio.
