Alameda Park Zoo - Alamogordo, Alameda Park Zoo, located in Alamogordo, New Mexico, was founded in 1898 and is the oldest zoo in the Southwestern United States. It is one of three AZA-accredited zoos in New Mexico and participates in the Species Survival Plan for the Mexican Gray Wolf.

Inn of the Mountain Gods - Mescalero, The Inn of the Mountain Gods is an 18 hole resort golf course in Otero County New Mexico. Built in 1976, this Mescalero course designed by Ted Robinson is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 14 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 800-446-2963. Lincoln State Monument - Lincoln, Lincoln State Monument was established in 1937 as a New Mexico State Monument, and is a part of a historic district in the tiny hamlet of Lincoln, New Mexico. Seventeen of the forty-eight structures in town are protected as part of the monument. Properties comprising the monument include Wright House, Dr. Wood's Office, Watson House, Curry Saloon, Wortley Hotel, Penfield Shop and Home, Tunstall Store, Old Mill, Ellis Store, Old Courthouse, Montano Store.

New Mexico Museum of Space History - Alamogordo, The New Mexico Museum of Space History is a museum and planetarium complex in Alamogordo, New Mexico, dedicated to artifacts and displays related to space flight and the space age. It includes the International Space Hall of Fame. The Museum of Space History highlights the role that New Mexico has had in the U. S. space program, and is one of eight museums administered by the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.

Ski Apache - Ruidoso, Ski Apache is a ski resort in southern New Mexico, on the slopes of Sierra Blanca. It is owned and operated, since 1963, by the Mescalero Apache Tribe. The resort is home to Ross Anderson, an acclaimed speed skier of Native American descent, who is the resort's marketing manager. Despite engaging in artificial snow making operations at Ski Apache, the Apache tribes continue to oppose the proposed snow making at Arizona Snowbowl.
