Dunleith - Natchez, Dunleith is a antebellum mansion in Natchez, Mississippi. The previous building, Routhland had been built by Job Routh and passed down to his daughter Mary Routh. When it was struck by lightning and burned down in 1855, her husband, General Charles G. Dahlgren rebuilt the home. It was sold for $30,000 in 1858 to Alfred Vidal Davis who renamed it Dunleith. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1974.

Grand Village of the Natchez Indians - Natchez, Grand Village of the Natchez, which is also referred to as Grand Village of the Natchez Indians, is a 128.1-acre site encompassing a prehistoric indigenous village and earthwork mounds in present-day south Natchez, Mississippi. The village complex was constructed starting about 1200 CE by members of the prehistoric Plaquemine culture. They built the three earthwork mounds in stages. Another phase of significant construction work by these prehistoric people has been dated to the mid-15th century.

Historic Jefferson College - Washington, Jefferson College was an all-male military college in Washington, Mississippi. It was the first educational institution of higher learning in Mississippi, being chartered in 1802. Its sister school was the nearby Elizabeth Female Academy. Jefferson College was the second oldest military school in the nation after the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, also chartered earlier in 1802. Although originally conceived as a college, for most of its history it was actually a college-preparatory school known as Jefferson Military College.

It is located on an 18,000 acre property that was previously the Angola and other plantations owned by Isaac Franklin in West Feliciana Parish, close to the Mississippi border.
