The park includes the Western Maryland Railway Station, station plaza, a picnic area, a canal boat replica, a pedestrian bridge to George Washington’s Headquarters, picnic area, and the Crescent Lawn Festival Grounds. Future plans for the festival grounds include an Adventure playground and an outdoor recreation facility composed of an ice skating rink, climbing walls and hardscape surface for summer activities.
