African American Civil War Memorial Museum - , Washington, The African American Civil War Memorial, at the corner of Vermont Avenue, 10th St, and U Street NW in Washington, D.C., commemorates the service of 209,145 African-American soldiers and sailors who fought for the Union in the American Civil War. Alumni Hall - United States Naval Academy - , Bowling Green, Alumni Hall is an indoor stadium at the United States Naval Academy, in Annapolis, Maryland. Completed in 1991, it seats 5,710 and serves as the primary assembly hall for the Brigade of Midshipmen. The first Free School of Anne Arrundell County was established by an Act of the General Assembly of colonial Maryland in 1723.
