McRaven House - , Vicksburg, McRaven was built ca.1797 by Andrew Glass in a town called Walnut Hills, which is now Vicksburg, Mississippi. In the Civil War era, it was known as the Bobb House, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as such. McRaven got its current name from the street it is located on, which was formerly called McRaven Street, but is now Harrison Street. McRaven has been on the Mississippi Department of Archives and History's Historic Preservation list since January 8, 1978.

Old Court House Museum - , Vicksburg, The Old Courthouse, Warren County, which is also referred to as Warren County Courthouse, sits prominently on a hill in Vicksburg, Mississippi and was a symbol of Confederate resistance during the siege of Vicksburg. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1968 and a Mississippi Landmark in 1986. The landmarked area is the entire Courthouse Square, which includes the courthouse and four cistern buildings.

Pemberton's Headquarters - , Vicksburg, Pemberton's Headquarters, which is also referred to as Willis-Cowan House, is a two-story brick house that served as the headquarters for Confederate General John C. Pemberton during most of the 47 day siege of Vicksburg, and the site where he decided to surrender the city to Ulysses S. Grant on July 4, 1863.

USS Cairo Museum - , Vicksburg, USS Cairo was a City class ironclad gunboat constructed for the Union Navy by James B. Eads during the American Civil War. She was the first vessel of the City class ironclads, also called the Cairo class.

Vicksburg National Military Park - , Vicksburg, Vicksburg National Military Park preserves the site of the American Civil War Battle of Vicksburg, waged from May 18 to July 4, 1863. The park, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Delta, Louisiana, also commemorates the greater Vicksburg Campaign, which preceded the battle. Reconstructed forts and trenches evoke memories of the 47-day siege that ended in the surrender of the city. Victory here and at Port Hudson gave the United States control of the Mississippi River.

Winter Quarters State Historic Site - Newellton, Winter Quarters in Tensas Parish, Louisiana, is a surviving example of an Antebellum cotton plantation. It is located on Lake St. Joseph, a former bend in the Mississippi River. The main plantation home of the site began as a hunting lodge in 1805 but was soon enlarged and became a residence. Before the Vicksburg Campaign of 1863 during the Civil War, there were 15 plantations along Lake St. Joseph. However, Union troops destroyed all of them except for the Winter Quarters property.
