Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site - Topeka, Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site was established in Topeka, Kansas, on October 26, 1992, by the United States Congress to commemorate the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision aimed at ending racial segregation in public schools. On May 17, 1954, the Supreme Court unanimously declared that "separate educational facilities are inherently unequal" and, as such, violated the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which guarantees all citizens "equal protection of the laws.

Combat Air Museum - Topeka, The Combat Air Museum is a museum that is situated in Williamsport Township, Shawnee County, near Topeka, Kansas at Forbes Field airport. It is one of a handful of major aviation museums in the US located on an active air field. Forbes Field is a joint civil-military public airport located six miles south of the central business district of Topeka, a city in Shawnee County, Kansas. It is owned by the Metropolitan Topeka Airport Authority.

David Traylor Zoo of Emporia - Emporia, The David Traylor Zoo is a small zoo that is situated in Emporia, Kansas. Admission to the zoo is free. You can walk through the displays of smaller animals and go across the street to see the larger animals, or you can drive by and see the larger animals whether or not the zoo is open. The zoo is part of Soden's Grove Park, which includes a small train that operates in the summer, the historical Marsh Arch Bridge, and an All Veterans Memorial.

Kansas Museum of History - Topeka, The Kansas Museum of History in Topeka, Kansas in the US, is the state history museum. It presents Kansas history from the prehistoric to modern eras in 30,000 square feet of exhibits. Landon Arena - Topeka, Landon Arena is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena built in 1987 in Topeka, Kansas. It is currently home to the Kansas Koyotes indoor football team and the Topeka Roadrunners ice hockey team. Previously, Topeka Sizzlers of the Continental Basketball Association, Topeka Tarantulas and Topeka ScareCrows ice hockey teams played there. Many other shows, including concerts, perform here.
