Birthplace of Ronald Reagan - Tampico, The Birthplace of Ronald Reagan, which is also referred to as the Graham Building, is located in an apartment on the second floor of a late 19th century commercial building in Tampico, Illinois. The building was built in 1896 and housed a tavern from that time until 1915. On February 6, 1911 the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, was born in the apartment above the tavern. The Reagans would move out of the apartment and into a house in Tampico a few months after Ronald was born.

Bishop Hill State Historic Site - Bishop Hill, Bishop Hill State Historic Site was the site of a utopian religious community founded in 1846 by Swedish pietist Eric Janson in Bishop Hill, Illinois. The Illinois Historic Preservation Agency operates four surviving buildings in the village as a state historic site located within the Bishop Hill Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970, and listed as a National Historic Landmark in 1984.

Black Hawk State Historic Site - Rock Island, The Black Hawk State Historic Site, in Rock Island, Illinois, occupies much of the historic site of the village of Saukenuk, the home of a band of Native Americans of the Sauk nation.
