Bald Mountain - Pierce, Bald Mountain Ski Area is a modest ski area in north central Idaho, located 11 miles northwest of Pierce in Clearwater County. First opened in 1959 for employees of the Potlatch Corporation in the village of Headquarters; it was opened to the public in the 1970s.
