A. S. Bradford House - Placentia, The A. S. Bradford House, which is also referred to as The Bradford House, is a historic home in Placentia, California. It was the home of Albert Summer Bradford, who founded Placentia by arranging for establishment of a water tank along the railway. Homes and businesses within a one mile radius could get water.

Adamson House - Malibu, Adamson House, which is also referred to as Vaquero Hill, is a historic house and gardens in Malibu, California that has been called the "Taj Mahal of Tile" due to its extensive use of decorative ceramic tiles created by the Malibu Potteries. The house was built in 1930 for Rhoda Rindge Adamson and Merritt Huntley Adamson, based on a Mediterranean Revival design by Stiles O. Clements of the architectural firm of Morgan, Walls & Clements.

Adventure City - Los Angeles, Adventure City is a theme park located in Anaheim, California near the city of Stanton. The park's slogan is "The Little Theme Park that's BIG on Family Fun". Occupying an area of over 160 acres, Adventure City is one of the smallest theme parks in California, and receives an average attendance of between 200,000 and 400,000 per year. The Coca-Cola Company, is the park's only major sponsor.

AdventurePlex at Marine - Manhattan Beach, The AdventurePlex at Marine is an indoor playground that is situated in Manhattan Beach Califorina. Their facility is operated by Beach Cities Health District, and was designed specifically for children and families. Children can engage in challenging physical and intellectual activities in a safe and supervised environment. There are mazes and tunnels, rope courses and outdoor rock climbing walls, an indoor gymnasium and a modern fitness room.

Its largest component is its Whizin Center for Continuing Education in which 12,000 students are enrolled annually in non-credit granting courses. A prominent program of the Center is the university's annual speaker series, featuring luminaries like Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Colin Powell, and other political and diplomatic leaders.

Anaheim Convention Center - Anaheim, Anaheim Convention Center is a major convention center in Anaheim, California. It is located across from the Disneyland Resort on Katella Avenue. Much of the Anaheim Convention Center has been renovated in recent years with state-of-the-art facilities. The basketball arena, fronting Katella Avenue, was opened in July 1967, while the convention hall behind it opened to business shortly afterward. Since then, the convention hall has undergone three major expansions, and currently encloses over 800,000 square feet of floor space.

If ever you happen to find yourselves in Glendale, CA, in need of lodging or food, please, heed my advice and stay as far away from the Glendale Days Inn as you possibly can. Apparently we neglected to note the sign on the side of the building advertising "Extended Stays"
