Alpine Meadows - Tahoe City, Alpine Meadows is a ski resort in the North Lake Tahoe California area, near Squaw Valley. The resort has 11 chairlifts and 2 surface lifts covering 2,400 acres of terrain. Alpine has a vertical drop of 1,800 ft with a top elevation of 8,637 ft. Minimal accommodations are available at the resort itself, so most people opt for a hotel at Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, Donner Pass, or Truckee.

Apple Mountain Golf Resort - Camino, The Apple Mountain Golf Resort is an 18 hole public golf course in El Dorado County California. Built in 1997, this Camino course designed by Algie Pulley is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 530-647-7400. The golf course dress code is as follows: No denim, collared shirt and bermuda shorts required.

Cal Neva Lodge & Casino - , Crystal Bay, Cal Neva Resort, Spa & Casino is a resort and casino straddling the border between Nevada and California on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Its mailing address is in Crystal Bay, Nevada. It first opened in 1926, and currently has a total of 220 rooms including cabins, chalets and tower rooms. This lodge was once part-owned by Frank Sinatra, who held an interest from 1960 to 1963. Sinatra's gambling license was stripped by the Nevada Gaming Control Board after Chicago mobster Sam Giancana was spotted on the premises.

Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center - , Gardnerville, Douglas County High School was the high school serving Douglas County, Nevada from 1915 the mid 1950s when it became a middle school. In 1988 the building was retired from educational uses. Designed by prolific Nevada architect Frederic Joseph DeLongchamps, it serves today as both the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center and a middle school and is listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places.
