Manzanar National Historic Site - Independence, Manzanar is most widely known as the site of one of ten camps where over 110,000 Japanese Americans were imprisoned during World War II. Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada in California's Owens Valley between the towns of Lone Pine to the south and Independence to the north, it is about 230 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Manzanar was identified by the United States National Park Service as the best-preserved of the former camp sites, and was designated the Manzanar National Historic Site.

Mt. Whitney Golf Club - Lone Pine, The Mt. Whitney Golf Club is a 9 hole public golf course in Inyo County California. Built in 1959, this Lone Pine course designed by Bob E. Baldock is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 760-876-5795. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.

Sequoia National Park - Sequoia National Park is a national park in the southern Sierra Nevada, east of Visalia, California, in the US of America. It was established on September 25, 1890. The park spans 404,051 acres. Encompassing a vertical relief of nearly 13,000 feet, the park contains among its natural resources the highest point in the contiguous 48 United States, Mount Whitney, at 14,505 feet above sea level.
