Alabama Museum of Natural History - Tuscaloosa, The Alabama Museum of Natural History is the state's natural history museum, located in Smith Hall at the University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa, . The oldest museum in the state, it was founded in 1831. The exhibits depict the natural diversity of Alabama from the Age of Dinosaurs, the Coal Age, and the Ice Age. Collections include items relating to geology, zoology, mineralogy, paleontology, ethnology, history, and photography.

Alabama Rural Heritage Center - Thomaston, The Alabama Rural Heritage Center is a museum that is situated in Thomaston, Alabama, and was built by the Auburn University Rural Studio. The center is run by the non-profit Alabama Rural Heritage Foundation. The building is located off of Alabama Highway 25, on the former Marengo County High School Campus. It is recognized for its billboard-like sign, and annual summer festival, Rural Fun Day.

Battle-Friedman House - Tuscaloosa, The Battle Friedman House is an antebellum town home located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The house was built in 1835 by Alfred Battle and his wife, Millicent Battle. The house's grounds include the only remaining documented antebellum garden in the state, the house itself is noted for its vernacular use of monumental boxed columns. The Battle family lived in the house until 1875, when the home was purchased by Bernard Friedman.

Bluff Hall - Demopolis, Bluff Hall is a historic residence in Demopolis, Alabama. The original portion of the house is in the Federal style with later additions that altered it to the Greek Revival style. It was documented as part of the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1936, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. As of 2007, it serves as a historic house museum, with the interior restored to an 1850s appearance.

Coleman Coliseum - University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa, Coleman Coliseum is a 15,316-seat multi-purpose arena in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and is home to the University of Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball and gymnastics teams. It has also been home to the Alabama women's basketball and women's volleyball programs in the past. Before 1988, the building was known as Memorial Coliseum. The arena opened in 1968 as a replacement for Foster Auditorium. Gaineswood - Demopolis, Gaineswood is a plantation house in Demopolis, Alabama. The house was completed on the eve of the American Civil War after a construction period of almost twenty years. It is the grandest plantation house ever built in Marengo County and is one of the most significant remaining examples of Greek Revival architecture in Alabama. The house and grounds are currently operated by the Alabama Historical Commission as a historic house museum.

Gorgas-Manly Historic District - Tuscaloosa, The Gorgas-Manly Historic District is a historic district that includes 12 acres and eight buildings on the campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The buildings represent the university campus as it existed from the establish of the institution through to the late 19th century. Two buildings included in the district, Gorgas House and the Little Round House, are among only seven structures to have survived the burning of the campus by the Union Army, under the command of Brigadier General John T.

Magnolia Grove (Greensboro, Alabama) - Greensboro, Magnolia Grove is a historic Greek Revival mansion in Greensboro, Alabama. The house was named for the 15-acre grove of Southern magnolias in which it stands. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 1973, due to its architectural and historical significance. It now serves as a historic house museum and is operated by the Alabama Historical Commission.

Mimosa Park Golf Course - Tuscaloosa, The Mimosa Park Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course in Tuscaloosa County Alabama. Built in 1965, this Tuscaloosa course designed by William Shamblin, MD is open all year - closed on mondays. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 205-752-8112.
