Joshua Tree National Park - Joshua Tree National Park is a national park that is situated in southeastern California. Declared a U.S. National Park in 1994 when the U.S. Congress passed the California Desert Protection Act, it had previously been a U.S. National Monument since 1936. It is named for the Joshua tree forests native to the park. It covers a land area of 789,745 acres, or 1,234 square miles - an area slightly smaller than the state of Rhode Island.

Built in 1964, this Twentynine Palms course designed by Lawrence Hughes is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 2 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 760-367-5770. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.
