Lake Arrowhead Resort Weekend Getaway

My wife and I went for a week-end getaway in the spring to the Lake Arrowhead Resort Skyforest, and we highly recommend this mountain location.  Only 1 and a half hours driving time from LAX airport in Los Angeles, the lodge was recently refurbished and offers adjoining lakeside rooms with balconies and spectacular lakeside views.  The rooms are complete with flat screen TV, fully stocked refrigerator and a safe for added security. 

The gourmet restaurant BIN 89 is on the ground floor with vintage wines stacked to the ceiling.  Or enjoy in-room dining with breakfast on your own private balcony.  Bring your bathing suit for a quiet relaxation in the hotel jacuzzi.    

Conveniences abound with a market, theater and outlet store shopping only minutes away.  Don’t miss this surprisingly affordable two night delight.

Most of the amenities are within short walking distance including a private walking mountain trail reserved for hotel guests.  We have visited here many times before and are always very pleased.
