Chronicling My Memorable 2010 Family Trips

This is my year-end post chronicling all the places I visited in 2010 –  The list of memorable places where I left my footprints in 2010:

4. Amicalola Falls State Park, GA
A beautiful, sunny July Saturday found us on a drive to the North Georgia Mountains and Chattahoochee National Forest, to trek up to see the Amicalola falls. The trip to the aptly named Falls (Amicalola is a Cherokee Indian name for Tumbling Waters), was rejuvenating to say the least.

5. Ocoee River, Centennial Olympic White Water Rafting Venue

2010 was a year of many memorable trips, some a few miles away, some to places across the globe and a few that transcended time, even…and I’m truly thankful for every minute of it all.
