Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens - , Dubuque, The Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens 52 acres are an arboretum and botanical gardens established in 1980 and located at 3800 Arboretum Drive, Dubuque, Iowa. It is open without charge seven days a week from May 1 to October 31, and weekdays the remainder of the year. The arboretum is the largest in the US staffed entirely by volunteers, and over 375 people help maintain the gardens. The Arboretum is a popular spot in the community for outdoor weddings.

Constructed in 1844–45, the building was built for and owned by Elihu B. Washburne a nationally significant politician and Galena resident. The Washburne House was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

First Capitol - Belmont, First Capitol Historic Site is a free admission historic museum located outside Belmont, Wisconsin. The museum includes two of the buildings first used by territorial legislators to meet and pass laws in Wisconsin Territory.
