Monongalia Arts Center - Morgantown, The Monongalia Arts Center, or MAC, is located in Morgantown, West Virginia near the campus of West Virginia University. Nemacolin Castle - , Brownsville, Bowman's Castle, which is also referred to as Nemacolin Castle, was built in present-day Brownsville, Pennsylvania, at the western terminus of the Nemacolin's Trail on the east bank of the Monongahela river. It replaced a wooden trading post built near the site of Fort Burd, the latter built by British colonists during the French and Indian War. Construction on the castle, including addition of a crenellated tower, continued through the Victorian era, when it was considered an engineering marvel.

Prabhupada's Palace of Gold - , New Vrindaban, New Vrindaban is a ISKCON intentional community located in Marshall County near Moundsville, West Virginia. It consists of 500 acres and several building complexes, including the Sri Sri Radha Vrindaban Chandra Temple and the Palace of Gold. New Vrindaban was founded in 1968 by Kirtanananda Swami and Hayagriva Swami. New Vrindaban is named after the Indian city of Vrindavan. It was expelled from ISKCON in 1988, but was readmitted some years later.

Watters Smith Memorial State Park - Lost Creek, Watters Smith Memorial State Park is a 532-acre historical park with a pioneer homestead and museum that is situated in Harrison County, West Virginia. The homestead, rising above Duck Creek, is a memorial to settler Watters Smith, who was born in Trenton, New Jersey, in 1767, and moved to Harrison County in what was then Virginia, in 1796, with his wife Elizabeth Davisson Smith. A log cabin similar to the original was moved and reconstructed on the park, together with farm buildings typical of early 19th century settlement.
