Canal Place - , Cumberland, Canal Place is a 58.1-acre park operated by the National Park Service located in Cumberland, Maryland. The park includes the Western Maryland Railway Station, station plaza, a picnic area, a canal boat replica, a pedestrian bridge to George Washington’s Headquarters, picnic area, and the Crescent Lawn Festival Grounds. Future plans for the festival grounds include an Adventure playground and an outdoor recreation facility composed of an ice skating rink, climbing walls and hardscape surface for summer activities.

Deep Creek Lake State Park - , Swanton, Deep Creek Lake State Park is a popular vacation area in Garrett County, Maryland in the US. It surrounds a reservoir that was created by the construction of the Deep Creek Dam in 1923 by the Pennsylvania Electric Company on a tributary of the Youghiogheny River. The lake was purchased by the state of Maryland in 2000 and is used for boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, and fishing. There is a state park that borders the lake, where black bears are occasionally seen by visitors.

Polish Pines Golf Course - Keyser, The Polish Pines Golf Course is a 9 hole public golf course in Mineral County West Virginia. Built in 1963, this Keyser course is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 304-788-6322. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

Taggart Hall Civil War Museum - Romney, Taggart Hall Civil War Museum & Visitors Center is home to the Fort Mill Ridge Foundation and its Fort Mill Ridge Civil War Trenches museum, the Hampshire County Visitors Bureau, and the Hampshire County Chamber of Commerce. It is located in Romney, West Virginia at 91 South High Street. Nextdoor to Taggart Hall on Gravel Lane stands Romney's oldest structure, the Wilson-Wodrow-Mytinger House.
