Mount Hood Meadows - , Government Camp, Mount Hood Meadows is one of the largest ski resorts in the US state of Oregon and the largest ski resort near Mount Hood. It is located about 67 miles east of Portland, and 35 miles from Hood River along Oregon Route 35. It has both alpine and Nordic ski areas and offers night skiing, lessons and equipment rentals. There are no overnight accommodations at Mount Hood Meadows itself, but a number of hotels and motels nearby offer shuttle services to the resort.

It is the largest night ski area in the US, and the total skiable area encompasses an area of 960 acres. The resort is the closest ski venue to Portland, with an elevation of 3,600 feet at the lodge, rising to just over 5,000 feet at the summit. The average snowfall at the area is 300 inches, with an average consolidated base around 100 inches and 65 marked trails.

Philip Foster Farm - , Eagle Creek, Philip Foster Farm is a historic site in Eagle Creek, Oregon, near the city of Estacada. The farm is on a 640-acre land claim purchased in 1847 by American pioneer Philip Foster. Foster built a store, house, and barn at the farm. The farmhouse and barn still stand, and a replica of the store has been built at the site.

Summit Ski Area - , /a>, , , Government Camp, Summit Ski Area is a small ski park located on Mount Hood, alongside the Mount Hood Highway in Government Camp, Oregon. Built in 1927, it is the oldest ski area in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to downhill skiing and snowboarding, Summit also offers innertubing and nordic trails.. The resort has a chairlift called "Homestead Lift" and a rope tow. NOTE: Their web site currently states that they no longer have a rope tow.
