Appomattox Court House National Historical Park - Appomattox, The Appomattox Court House National Historical Park is a National Historical Park of original and reconstructed nineteenth century buildings. It was signed into law August 3, 1935. The village was made a national monument in 1940 and a national historical park in 1954. It is located three miles east of Appomattox, Virginia, the location of the Appomattox Station and the "new" Appomattox Court House. It is in the center of the state about 25 miles east of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Hat Creek Golf Course - Brookneal, The Hat Creek Golf Course is a 9 hole public golf course in Campbell County Virginia. Built in 1975, this Brookneal course designed by Bill Singleton is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 804-376-2292. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

Longwood Golf Course - Farmville, The Longwood Golf Course is a 9 hole public golf course in Prince Edward County Virginia. Built in 1965, this Farmville course is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 2 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 804-395-2613. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

Red Hill Patrick Henry National Memorial - Brookneal, Red Hill Patrick Henry National Memorial in Charlotte County, Virginia near the Town of Brookneal, honors Patrick Henry, the fiery legislator and orator of the American Revolution.
