Burke Mountain - East Burke, Burke Mountain is a mountain located in the "Northeast Kingdom" of Vermont. The bulk of the mountain is in Caledonia County, but its southeast side is in Essex County. Like the town of Burke, the mountain is probably named after the British statesman, Edmund Burke. It is flanked to the east by Umpire Mountain.

Old Stone House Museum - , Brownington, The Old Stone House Museum, a student dormitory once known as Athenian Hall, is a museum run by the Orleans County Historical Society in Brownington, Vermont. The building is a part of the Brownington Village Historic District, a district of ten historic buildings added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

St. Johnsbury Athenaeum - , St. Johnsbury, The St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, is significant because of its construction, the American landscape paintings and books from its original role as a public library and free art gallery, and funding by Horace Fairbanks, manufacturer of the world’s first platform scale. The art collection contains a number of Hudson River School paintings. This unaltered building retains a strong, Victorian flavor of the 19th century.
