Middlebury College Snow Bowl - Middlebury, The Middlebury College Snow Bowl is a ski area in Hancock, Vermont, 13 miles east of Middlebury in the Green Mountains. The site has been owned and operated by Middlebury College since its first trails were cut in 1934. The Snow Bowl has 17 trails and 3 lifts, offering access to more than 110 acres of terrain. In 2006, it became the first carbon-neutral ski area in the US.

Montshire Museum of Science - Norwich, The Montshire Museum of Science is a small, hands-on, self-guided science museum that is situated in Norwich, Vermont, in the US. It has roughly 150,000 visitors annually. The museum, including the building and nature trails, is located on over 110 acres of land. It has exhibits on anatomy, math, astronomy, mechanics, and natural history, among others. Its live animal exhibits include a hive of honeybees that is connected to the outdoors and a colony of leafcutter ants.

Smugglers' Notch - Jeffersonville, Smugglers' Notch is a resort area in the Town of Cambridge, near Jeffersonville, Vermont. Its namesake is a narrow notch running adjacent to Sterling Mountain, which smugglers used many years ago. Smugglers' Notch is nicknamed Smuggs. It consists of three mountains: Morse Mountain, Madonna and Sterling Mountains. The resort attracts skiiers in the winter and summer vacationers during the warmer months.

Stowe Mountain Resort - Stowe, Stowe Mountain Resort is a ski resort near the town of Stowe in northern Vermont, comprising two separate mountains: Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak. Mount Mansfield, the location of intermediate and advanced ski trails, is the tallest mountain in Vermont, its summit elevation is 4,393 feet above sea level. Sugarbush Resort - Warren, Sugarbush Resort is a ski resort that is situated in the Mad River Valley in Warren, Vermont. It is one of the largest ski resorts in New England. The resort encompasses more than 4000 acres total, 578 acres skiable, 53 miles of trails, and 16 ski lifts. Sugarbush has 111 ski trails, 18 additional marked wooded area, substantial off-piste skiing and riding, a summit elevation of 4,083 ft, and a vertical drop of 2600 ft.

Suicide Six - Woodstock, Suicide Six is the name of a ski resort in South Pomfret, Vermont. It has some claim to historical fame as a very early ski resort and in 1934, an improvised rope tow, said to be the first ski lift in the Eastern United States. The rope tow was set up by Wallace "Bunny" Bertram on Gilbert's Hill, and powered with a Ford Model T engine. Bertram once joked that to ski down the nearby Hill No. 6 would be suicide.

Thompson Arena - Dartmouth College - , Hanover, Rupert C. Thompson Arena is a 3,500-seat hockey arena in Hanover, New Hampshire. It is home to the Dartmouth College Big Green men's and women's ice hockey teams. The barrel-vaulted, reinforced concrete arena was designed by renowned architect Pier Luigi Nervi. It was named for Rupert C. Thompson '28, the major benefactor of the project, and replaced Davis Rink, the original "indoor" home of Dartmouth hockey from 1929 to 1975.
