E. H. Danner Museum of Telephony - San Angelo, Fort Concho is a National Historic Landmark owned and operated since 1935 by the city of San Angelo, the seat of Tom Green County in West Texas. Situated on the North Concho River, near its confluence with the South and Middle Concho rivers, the site selected for Fort Concho was strategic to the stabilization of the region, because of the location of no fewer than five major trails in the vicinity. Even though the fort was surrounded by miles of flat treeless prairie, it was considered to be “one of the most beautiful and best ordered posts in Texas.

San Angelo Coliseum - San Angelo, The San Angelo Coliseum is a 5,260-seat multi-purpose arena in San Angelo, Texas built in 1959 as a home for the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo, the 4th largest stock show and rodeo in the US, after its original home was destroyed in 1953. It was the San Angelo Stampede Express an indoor football team that competed in the Indoor Football League. Throughout the year the coliseum is home to various concerts, ice shows trade shows and exhibits and other special events.
