John Nance Garner Museum - Uvalde, The John Nance Garner House, which is also referred to as John Nance Garner Museum or the Ettie R. Garner Memorial Building, located in Uvalde, Texas in the US was the home of American Vice-President John Nance Garner and his wife Ettie from 1920 until Ettie's death in 1948. Garner lived there until 1952, when he moved to a small cottage on the property and donated the main house to the city of Uvalde as a memorial to Mrs.

Uvalde Memorial Park Golf Course - Uvalde, The Uvalde Memorial Park Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course in Uvalde County Texas. Built in 1942, this Uvalde course is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 830-278-6155. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.
