Reptile Gardens - Rapid City, Reptile Gardens is an animal park located in Rapid City, South Dakota. Its mission is "To educate the public on important environmental issues, while working closely with many major zoos worldwide to promote species survival". Rushmore Plaza Civic Center - Rapid City, The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center is a 150,000-square-foot exhibition center, in Rapid City, South Dakota. It contains a 10,000 seat, multi-purpose arena. It was built in 1977 and the grand opening event was an Elvis Presley concert on June 21st.

Terry Peak - Lead, Terry Peak is a mountain and ski area in the Black Hills outside of Lead, South Dakota in the US. It is the third highest point east of the Rockies in the continental United States. Terry Peak was first used as a ski area in 1936 by the Bald Mountain Ski Club when a rope tow was installed. The first chair lift was installed in 1952 and began operation in 1954. Terry Peak has since seen many upgrades in chair lifts, trails, and accommodations.
