Persimmon Hill Golf Club - Saluda, The Persimmon Hill Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf course in Saluda County South Carolina. Built in 1963, this Saluda course designed by Russell Breeden is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 365 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 800-279-1931. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

South Edisto Golf Course - Ridge Spring, The South Edisto Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course in Saluda County South Carolina. Built in 1975, this Ridge Spring course designed by H. D. Wyman is open all year. For tee time information call the pro shop at 803-649-3366. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.

Walnut Grove Plantation - Spartanburg, Walnut Grove Plantation, the home of Charles and Mary Moore, was built in 1765 on a land grant given by King George III. The property is located in Roebuck in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Charles Moore was a school teacher and used the 3,000-acre plantation as a farm. The Moores had ten children, and some of the descendents still live within the area.
