Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site - Gallitzin, The Allegheny Portage Railroad was the first railroad constructed through the Allegheny Mountains in central Pennsylvania. It was a series of 10 inclines, about 36 miles long, and operated from 1834 to 1854. It connected two canal divisions of the Main Line of Public Works of the Pennsylvania Canal from Johnstown on the west to Hollidaysburg on the east, thus allowing continuous barge traffic between the Ohio and the Susquehanna rivers.

Cambria County War Memorial Arena - Johnstown, The Cambria County War Memorial Arena is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Johnstown, Pennsylvania that is managed my SMG Entertainment. It was built in 1950, for the Johnstown Jets of the Eastern Hockey League. The film Slap Shot, based on the Jets, was filmed in this arena. The arena was the home of the Johnstown Chiefs for 22 years, but they were relocated in 2010 to Greenville, South Carolina. A banner was hung at the final home game on April 4, 2010 stating "The Greatest Fans in Hockey.

Horseshoe Curve - Altoona, Horseshoe Curve is a famous railroad horseshoe curve in central Pennsylvania, near Altoona in the US. Called an "engineering marvel", it was completed in 1854 by the Pennsylvania Railroad. It was later used by the Penn Central, then Conrail, and is currently owned and operated by the Norfolk Southern Railway.

Idlewild and Soak Zone - Ligonier, Idlewild and Soak Zone, commonly known as Idlewild Park or simply Idlewild, is a family amusement park situated in the Laurel Highlands near Ligonier, Pennsylvania, about 50 miles east of Pittsburgh, along US Route 30. Founded in 1878 as a campground along the Ligonier Valley Railroad by Thomas Mellon, Idlewild is the oldest amusement park in Pennsylvania. The park has won several awards, including from industry publication Amusement Today as the best children's park in the world.
