Located in a historic former US Post Office, it offers tour exhibits, art classes, lectures, and community events. Darlingtonia Botanical Wayside - Florence, Darlingtonia State Natural Site is a state park and botanical preserve located five miles north of Florence, Oregon on U.S. Route 101, just west of Mercer Lake and south of Sutton Lake that is dedicated to the preservation of a rare plant.

Sea Lion Caves - Florence, Sea Lion Caves are a connected system of sea caves and caverns open to the Pacific Ocean in the U.S. state of Oregon. They are located 11 miles north of Florence on U.S. Highway 101, about midpoint on the 400 miles Oregon coast. In this area Highway 101 follows a steep and undeveloped seascape 300 feet above sea level. Human access to the caves are through a gift shop building.

Shore Acres State Park - Coos Bay, Shore Acres State Park is an Oregon State Park that can be found on the Cape Arago Highway south of Coos Bay, Oregon. The park features 5 acres of formal gardens including a rose-testing plot and Japanese lily pond. During autumn, winter and spring, visitors gather on the tall sandstone cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean for storm watching and observation of the gray whale migration. Another seasonal attraction is the Shore Acres Holiday Lights, lasting from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day, when the gardens are decorated with thousands of lights and illuminated sculptures.
