Mountain Harbour Golf & Yacht Club - Hayesville, The Mountain Harbour Golf & Yacht Club is an 18 hole public golf course in Clay County North Carolina. Built in 1992, this Hayesville course designed by Willard Byrd is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 7 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 828-389-4111. The golf course dress code is as follows: No denim, collared shirt and bermuda shorts required.

Vogel State Park - , Blairsville, Vogel State Park is a 233-acre or 94 hectares state park located at the base of Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest. It became one of the first two parks in Georgia when it founded a state park system in 1931. Much of the park was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s.
