Silver Creek Golf Club - Swansboro, The Silver Creek Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf course in Onslow County North Carolina. Built in 1995, this Swansboro course designed by Gene Hamm is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 365 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 252-393-8058. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial - Wilmington, USS North Carolina was the lead ship of her class of battleship and the fourth in the US Navy to be named in honor of this U.S. state. She was the first new-construction U.S. battleship to enter service during World War II, participating in every major naval offensive in the Pacific theater to become the most decorated U.S. battleship of the war with 15 battle stars. She is now a museum ship at the port of Wilmington, North Carolina.
