Bellamy Mansion - Wilmington, The Bellamy Mansion, located in historic downtown Wilmington, North Carolina, was built between 1858 and 1861. It was used as a Confederate Fort during the American Civil War. The fort was pivotal in protecting the Cape Fear River inlets and Wilmington upstream.
