John Brown Farm and Gravesite - , North Elba, The John Brown Farm and Gravesite was the home and is the final resting place of abolitionist John Brown. It is located on John Brown Road in North Elba near Lake Placid, New York, where John Brown moved in 1849 to lead freed slaves in farming. In 1855, he moved to Kansas to support his sons' efforts to keep Kansas as a free-state under the popular sovereignty laws, leaving his wife and several of his children behind.

Lake Champlain Maritime Museum - , Vergennes, The Lake Champlain Maritime Museum is non-profit museum that is situated in Ferrisburgh, Vermont in the US. Its mission is to preserve and share the history and archaeology of Lake Champlain. As a maritime museum specializing in archaeology, LCMM studies the dozens of shipwrecks discovered in Lake Champlain and plays a major role in the management of those cultural resources. Through the preservation and interpretation of those and other artifacts, the museum strives to tell the story of the people and culture of the Lake Champlain region.

Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum - Lake Placid, The 1932 & 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum, sometimes referred to as the Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum, in Lake Placid, New York, commemorates the 1932 Winter Olympics and 1980 Winter Olympics, which were based in the village. It is the only Olympic museum in the US and is a part of the work of New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority in the Lake Placid Olympic Region. Lake Placid is the only North American city to have hosted two separate Winter Olympics.

Marcella Sembrich Opera Museum - Bolton Landing, Marcella Sembrich Opera Museum, which is also referred to as Marcella Sembrich Memorial Studio, is a historic teaching studio located at Bolton Landing, Warren County, New York. It was built in 1922-24 as a teaching studio for New York Metropolitan Opera diva Marcella Sembrich. The studio building is a one story, rectangular, stucco walled wood frame building with a hipped roof and glassed in porches in the Spanish Revival style.

Penfield Homestead Museum - Crown Point, Ironville Historic District is a national historic district located at Ironville in Essex County, New York. The district contains 12 contributing buildings. It encompasses the area associated with a once thriving iron works. Almost nothing remains of the iron works itself. The remaining buildings consists of modest wooden dwellings including the Penfield Homestead, boarding house, Congregational Church, commercial building / grange hall, and cemetery.
