Adirondack Museum - Blue Mountain Lake, The Adirondack Museum, located on NY-30 in the hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake in Hamilton County, New York, is a museum dedicated to preserving the history of the Adirondacks. The museum is that can be found on the site of an historic summer resort hotel, the Blue Mountain House, built high above Blue Mountain Lake in 1876, that operated until the late 1940s.

Beth Joseph Synagogue - Tupper Lake, , , , , , , , town, The Historic Beth Joseph Tupper Lake Synagogue and Gallery is a synagogue in Tupper Lake, New York that was built in 1905, although it was closed for over three decades. Today, it is the oldest synagogue in the Adirondack Mountains, but it is only open in the summer. It houses a small museum.

Camp Santanoni - Newcomb, The Santanoni Preserve, was once a private estate of some 13,000 acres in the Adirondack Mountains, and now is the property of the State of New York, at Newcomb, New York. Camp Santanoni, as it is commonly known, was a residential complex of some forty-five buildings within the Santanoni Preserve. Now a National Historic Landmark, this is one of the earliest examples of some thirty-five "Great Camps of the Adirondacks.

Gore Mountain - North Creek, Gore Mountain is an alpine ski resort on Gore Mountain in the Adirondack Mountains, located in North Creek, New York. The mountain is a popular winter destination, attracting skiers from all over the east. It is the closest large mountain in New York to the Capital District metro area. John Brown Farm and Gravesite - , North Elba, The John Brown Farm and Gravesite was the home and is the final resting place of abolitionist John Brown. It is located on John Brown Road in North Elba near Lake Placid, New York, where John Brown moved in 1849 to lead freed slaves in farming. In 1855, he moved to Kansas to support his sons' efforts to keep Kansas as a free-state under the popular sovereignty laws, leaving his wife and several of his children behind.

Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum - Lake Placid, The 1932 & 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum, sometimes referred to as the Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum, in Lake Placid, New York, commemorates the 1932 Winter Olympics and 1980 Winter Olympics, which were based in the village. It is the only Olympic museum in the US and is a part of the work of New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority in the Lake Placid Olympic Region. Lake Placid is the only North American city to have hosted two separate Winter Olympics.
