El Morro National Monument - Ramah, El Morro National Monument is located on an ancient east-west trail in western New Mexico. The main feature of this National Monument is a great sandstone promontory with a pool of water at its base. As a shaded oasis in the western U.S. desert, this site has seen many centuries of travelers. The remains of a mesa top pueblo are atop the promontory where between about 1275 to 1350 AD, up to 1500 people lived in this 875 room pueblo.

Gallup Municipal Golf Course - Gallup, The Gallup Municipal Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course in McKinley County New Mexico. Built in 1965, this Gallup course designed by Leon Howard is open all year - closed on mondays. Tee times are accepted up to 4 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 505-863-9224. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

Navajo Nation Zoological and Botanical Park - , Window Rock, The Navajo Nation Zoological and Botanical Park is a zoo that is situated in Window Rock, the capital of the Navajo Nation. It is the only tribally owned zoological park in the US and is notable among zoological facilities in that it labels its exhibits in a Native American Indian language. Having been operated by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Department since its inception in the early 1960s, it became part of the Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife in September 2006.
