Blackwater Draw Museum & Archaeological Site - Portales, Blackwater Draw, formerly known as Anderson Basin, is an extinct riverbed near Clovis, New Mexico that contains two important archeological sites. Its importance was first recognized in 1929 by Ridgely Whiteman of Clovis, New Mexico. Particularly well-known is Blackwater Locality No. 1, which is the type site of the Clovis culture. Evidence of "fluted" points, spearheads also known as Clovis points and other stone and bone weapons, tools, and processing implements was found at the archaeological site.

Par 3 Course at Clovis Municipal Golf Course - Clovis, The Par 3 Course at Clovis Municipal Golf Course is a 27 hole public golf course in Curry County New Mexico. is open all year. For tee time information call the pro shop at 505-769-7871. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.

Tucumcari Municipal Golf Course - Tucumcari, The Tucumcari Municipal Golf Course is a 9 hole public golf course in Quay County New Mexico. Built in 1949, this Tucumcari course designed by Dr. Hoover is open all year - closed on mondays. Tee times are accepted up to 300 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 505-461-1849. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.
