Don Haskins Center - University of Texas at El Paso - , El Paso, The Don Haskins Center is the home of UTEP Miners men's and women's basketball. The 'Don', as it is known by local residents, is located in the heart of El Paso, Texas. In addition to hosting sporting events, the Don is also used by many area schools, such as El Paso Community College, for graduation and commencement ceremonies. El Paso Museum of Art - , El Paso, Founded in 1959, The El Paso Museum of Art is a museum that is situated in downtown El Paso, Texas. First accredited in 1972, it is the only accredited art museum within a 250 mile radius and serves about 100,000 visitors per year. A new building was completed in 1998. In addition to its permanent collections and special exhibitions, the museum also offers art classes, film series, lectures, concerts, storytelling sessions and other educational programs to the West Texas, Southern New Mexico and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico community.

The 35-acre facility houses animals representing over 220 species, including such critically endangered species as the Amur leopard and the Aruba rattlesnake. Fort Selden State Monument - Las Cruces, Fort Selden was a U.S. Army post, occupying the area in what is now Radium Springs, New Mexico. Established in 1865 for the purpose of protecting westward settlers from Native American raids, the post fell into disrepair after the American Civil War. It was ultimately abandoned in 1891, due in large part to the decision to expand Fort Bliss and the lack of any expenditures for repair of the facility.

Magoffin Home State Historic Site - , El Paso, Magoffin Homestead was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The surrounding area was declared the Magoffin Historic District on February 19, 1985. The home is now known as the Magoffin Home State Historic Site.
