Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary - Short Hills, The Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary, which is also referred to as the Hartshorn Arboretum, is an arboretum and bird sanctuary located at 324 Forest Drive South, Short Hills, in Essex County, New Jersey. Its trails are open to the public daily without charge. Various programs are also offered for children, families, and adults.

Cornelius Low House - Piscataway, The Cornelius Low House is a Georgian manor in Piscataway, New Jersey built for Cornelius Low II in 1741 at Raritan Landing. The Cornelius Low House is listed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places and National Register of Historic Places, and was surveyed in 1937 for the Historic American Building Survey.

Covenhoven House - , Freehold Borough, Hankinson-Moreau-Covenhoven House, which is also referred to as General Clinton's Headquarters, is located in Freehold, New Jersey. The house was built in 1706 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 1, 1974.

Craftsman Farms - , Parsippany-Troy Hills, Craftsman Farms was founded in 1908 by noted turn-of-the-century designer Gustav Stickley as a farm and school for the Arts and Crafts movement. It remained in use until 1915 when it was sold to a family and became a private house.

Dey Mansion - Wayne, The Dey Mansion, located in modern day Wayne, New Jersey and originally known as "Bloomsbury Manor," played an intricate role in the American Revolution. Built by Dutch settlers in the middle of the 18th century it served as Washington's Headquarters on several occasions.

Drumthwacket - Princeton, Drumthwacket is the official residence of the governor of New Jersey. The mansion is located at 354 Stockton Street in Princeton, New Jersey, close to the state capital of Trenton. (It is one of only three official governor's residences in the country that is not located within its state capital; the other two are in Wisconsin and Ohio.

Duke Gardens - Somerville, Duke Gardens in Somerset County, New Jersey were among the most significant glass house collections in America. Created by Doris Duke herself, the aerial view confirms they were larger than the New York Botanical Garden's Haupt Conservatory, and were open to the public from 1964 until they were closed by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation as of May 25th, 2008. All plants, trees and shrubs will be removed.

East Course at Mercer Oaks Golf Course - , West Windsor, The East Course at Mercer Oaks Golf Course is a 36 hole public golf course in Mercer County New Jersey. Built in 2003, this West Windsor course designed by Ault, Clark & Associates is open mar 15 to dec 26. For tee time information call the pro shop at 609-936-9603. The golf course dress code is as follows: Collared shirt, no cutoffs, denim OK.

Edison National Historic Site - West Orange, Thomas Edison National Historical Park preserves Thomas Edison's laboratory and residence, Glenmont, in West Orange, New Jersey. For more than forty years, the laboratory had a major impact on the lives of people worldwide. Out of the West Orange laboratories came the motion picture camera, improved phonographs, sound recordings, silent and sound movies and the nickel-iron alkaline electric storage battery.
