Fort Malden National Historic Site - , Amherstburg, , , , , Ontario, Fort Malden was a fort that stood on the remains of Fort Amherstburg in Amherstburg, Ontario. The original fort was abandoned by the British/Canadians in 1813 when Southwest Ontario fell into American hands. The Americans started building a smaller fort on the same site but was unfinished at the end of the war, when the region was returned to the British Empire. The fort was finally rebuilt between 1838 and 1840 and served as an important staging area for the 34th Regiment of Foot that participated in actions around Essex county Ontario during the Upper Canada Rebellion.

Fort Meigs - , Perrysburg, Fort Meigs was a fortification along the Maumee River in Ohio during the War of 1812. It is named in honor of Ohio governor Return J. Meigs, Jr., for his support in providing General William Henry Harrison with militia and supplies for the line of forts along the Old Northwest frontier.
