A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum - Houghton, The A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum, currently that can be found on the campus of Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan, is the official mineral museum of the state of Michigan.

Herman and Anna Hanka Farm - Pelkie, The Hanka Homestead is a group of 8 buildings on a 40-acre homestead. It is also known as the Herman and Anna Hanka Farm or just the Hanka Farm. It is located 3 miles west of U.S. Highway 41, off Tower Road, near Pelkie, Michigan in the US. The homestead was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Keweenaw National Historical Park - Calumet, Keweenaw National Historical Park is a unit of the U.S. National Park Service. Established in 1992, the park celebrates the life and history of the Keweenaw Peninsula in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. Mont Ripley Ski Resort - Houghton, Mont Ripley is a popular ski hill in located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It is owned by Michigan Technological University. It was founded in the early 1900s and has since grown to one of the premier ski hills in the American Midwest. With the addition of snow making in 2000, the season has been extended from late November to late March or early April.
