McGuirk Arena - Central Michigan University - Mount Pleasant, The McGuirk Arena, previously known as the Daniel P. Rose Center, is a multi-purpose arena, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The arena opened in 1973 and is part of a larger facility known as the CMU Events Center. The arena is home to the Central Michigan University Chippewas men's and women's basketball, women's gymnastics, women's volleyball, and men's wrestling teams. In 2009–2010, the CMU Events Center underwent a $20 million renovation that included reconfigured seating in the arena, slightly increasing seating capacity to 5,300 from the previous capacity of 5,200.

Mitchell State Park - Cadillac, William Mitchell State Park is a state park in Cadillac, Michigan. The park is one of the more popular camping destinations in northern lower Michigan. It is located between Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac, . A historic canal, about one third of a mile in length, connects the two lakes and runs directly through the park. The 334-acre park was officially dedicated in 1919.
